Leadership 2025 Contest

2025 Leadership Convention June 7th

Mark your calendars! Our leadership convention will be Saturday, June 7th from 1pm - 4pm at the Stratford Emergency Services Centre. You must have an active Green Party of PEI membership by May 8, 2025 to be eligible to vote. Don't miss this event as we vote for the next leader of the Green Party of Prince Edward Island!

If you are a member, here's how you can vote for our next leader:

1. Request an Absentee (online) ballot by May 31st at 11:59pm if you prefer to vote from home
  • Request your online ballot here: https://form.jotform.com/251295344682058. You'll need to upload a copy of your ID as part of the request.
  • All ballots will be sent via the online voting platform OpaVote by the end of the day on June 1st.
  • You will need to cast your ballot by the end of the day on June 6th.
  • We're working on a live stream option so that you can still watch the rest of the proceedings live from home!
2. Register to attend the entire Leadership Convention in person
  • Due to capacity limitations at the Stratford Emergency Services Centre where the Convention will be held, we can only guarantee that the first 150 who register will be able to attend.
  • Please register here: https://forms.gle/TCDxUTwP2w6GQ8ga9
  • Parking is limited, so we're encouraging ride sharing, and you'll be able to let us know on the form whether you'd be open to that.
  • We could use the help of a number of volunteers to help make things run smoothly, please let us know on the form if you can help!
  • Remember to bring a piece of government-issued ID which you'll need when registering at the Convention!
3. Come to the Convention just to cast your vote
  • It will also be an option to come to the Stratford Emergency Services Centre just to cast your vote on a paper ballot during the 2pm to 2:45pm voting window.
  • It might be more convenient to request an online ballot.
  • Remember to bring a piece of government-issued ID which you'll need when registering for your ballot!
  • We're working on a live stream option so that you can still watch the rest of the proceedings live from home!
